Since October 1983, there has been a group of entertainers called "The Mistics." This foursome is different from any other vocal group that is, has been, or ever will be. One difference being these four superb vocalists made a choice to form one multi-talented singing group, and to stay true to what it means to be a "Group." The Mistics began by performing in nightclubs and bars. Making little to no money, it was there
that they learned the true art of entertaining. Through good times and bad, the group has learned
what it takes to entertain all types of audiences. In the time that the group has been performing,
there is no experience or situation these four men from Cincinnati have not encountered. The Mistics have come from being an opening act for a country rock band on their home turf, to
autographing parts of the female body. From the early club dates (the changing room being the club's bathrooms, basements, and even alley ways) to singing the national anthem for political events, or national sporting events (relaxing in luxury suites). From traveling shows in rented U-haul trucks, to working with local and national celebrities, and riding in parades. From performing in a laundrymat, to opening for major touring acts. From radio shows and television appearances in Ohio and Kentucky, to National telecasts (including the Miss Ohio Scholarship pagents, and St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital telethons). From entertaining crowds of 3 to crowds of 30,000. The Mistics recorded their first demo tape in a bathroom, and now are recording on their own record label, (Misty Rainbow). Their first CD "This Is Now," has been a huge success, and they have just
completed their second CD "Mistics II", which looks to be even bigger and better than the first. It is safe to say that
the years of hard work, determination, and focus have truly paid off. The Mistics have earned everything they have received. They are not looking in the past, but to the future which is to show the world what it is to be "Mistified."
